- Process Design & Improvement: Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace components, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Production Support: Provide technical support to the production team to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Tooling & Equipment: Design and manage tooling and fixtures for the production line, ensuring they meet the requirements for precision, repeatability, and safety.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all processes meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards, such as AS9100 or ISO9001.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the introduction of new aerospace products by developing manufacturing processes, performing risk assessments, and conducting pilot runs.
- Data Analysis: Use data-driven methods to monitor and improve manufacturing performance, including yield, throughput, and downtime.
