Overview of the role:
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a precision engineering company located on the outskirts of South Birmingham working on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives
- Create robust programs for EDM/Laser machinery
- Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, Nuclearindustries
- Minimum 4years experience in Programming either Laser machines or Wire EDM machines
- Experience in Multi-axis Laser Programming and/orEDM & Wire Programming skills and/or Press Tool design
- Able to create jigs and fixtures
- Engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
