Up to £20.00 per hour
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting older people, excellent organisational skills, and experience in housing or support services.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for residents, providing a responsive and empathetic service to meet their needs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of sheltered housing schemes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular welfare checks and liaise with residents to promote their well-being and independence.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services at the schemes.
- Support new resident onboarding, including tenancy sign-ups and orientation.
- Collaborate with external agencies and community organizations to enhance resident services.
- Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and ensure confidentiality at all times
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in housing management, support services, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of issues affecting older or vulnerable adults.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple locations.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
