Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Interventions Practitioner to join a vibrant school community in Birmingham, working closely with KS2 students to support their learning and progress.

About the Role:

As an Interventions Practitioner, you will work with small groups and individual pupils, delivering tailored interventions to address learning gaps, enhance academic confidence, and raise attainment.

The role is ideal for someone with experience supporting pupils in KS2, with a focus on core subjects such as English and Maths. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver effective sessions that meet the needs of learners.

Requirements:

  • HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) status or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience delivering targeted interventions, particularly with KS2 students.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and inspire a love of learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
