Fixed Term Contract PositionCompetitive Salary DOEFixed Term ContractFree onsite parkingStraight Day Shift. I am currently working with an award-winning presswork business based in Redditch.  They have a requirement for a Quality Inspector to join their existing Quality team on a fixed term contract to cover long term sickness.  Based on the shop floor, and reporting directly to the Inspection Team Leader, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for:
  • Conducting inspections of stampings and assemblies using standard visual inspection equipment.
  • Creating and follow inspection plans based on engineering drawings.
  • Identify deviations and non-conformances.
  • Generating detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Identifying potential quality issues and proactively suggest corrective actions.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
  • Communicating effectively with production personnel and engineers regarding inspection results.
The ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector role will have: 
  • A good knowledge of inspection equipment.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Preferably have previous experience in a similar role from within an Aerospace or Automotive environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of ISO9001, AS9100 AND NADCAP.
