Due to continued growth Next Generation are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work with a well-established engineering company based near Redditch. As the Quality Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and document control.



Shift pattern for the Quality Inspector:

Monday Thursday (08:00am 17:00pm)

Friday 8am 13:00pm

Duties of the Quality Inspector:

Conducting first and last off dimensional inspections

Calibrating & using inspection equipment such as digital callipers, micrometres, verniers and CMMs

Control of incoming material and sub-contract W.I.P.

Inspection and testing of material / parts during various production stages including 1st off / Last off Inspection.

Relevant documentation control and verification.

Assisting Quality and Inspection department with various tasks on daily basis



The successful candidate for the Quality Inspectors position will have the following experience:

Ability to understand written and verbal instructions (Essential)

3 5 years experience working as a dimensional Quality Inspector (Essential)

Ability to calibrate & use hand held metrology equipment (Essential)

Ability to operate CMMs (Desirable)
