- Conducting inspection of springs, wireforms and assemblies using a variety of manual inspection equipment.
- Completing 1st off and final inspection procedures.
- Creating and follow inspection plans based on engineering drawings.
- Collaborating with other departments to review internal and external non-conformance.
- Generating detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Identifying potential quality issues and proactively suggest corrective actions.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
- Communicating effectively with production personnel and engineers regarding inspection results.
- A good knowledge of inspection equipment.
- The ability to read engineering drawings.
- Gained previous experience in a similar role, working in an Aerospace/Automotive environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of Root Cause Analysis (ie. Fishbone, 8D, 5Y).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software).
- Conversant with the requirements of AS9100 and NADCAP and familiar with the requirements of SABRe.
- A formal qualification in Quality or be keen to obtain one.
