Established automotive manufacturing organisation seeks enthusiastic, organised, IT proficient good communicator to join their busy team as Customer Services Administrator offering Logistics Support. Your role as Customer Services Administrator would be to manage customer and logistics partner relationships, foster positive relationships with customers, liaise with planning to ensure customers are informed of accurate and up to date delivery requirements, process orders and oversee cycle of order fulfilment, being responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
Offered as a permanent contract with immediate start available, the role of Customer Services Administrator would suit a pro-active individual with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), problem solving and task management ability. Previous experience in Customer Services within a Production and Logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
Duties of Customer Service Administrator:
- Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner
- Raising Works Orders for production
- Maintain accurate records and document service activities and discussions
- Ensure customer schedules / orders are input onto system in a timely manner.
- Handle complex and escalated customer service issues
- Co-ordinate and manage customer service and logistics projects
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Producing all delivery documentation
- Keeping customers updated with order information
- Arrange transportation, orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand
- Maintaining logs of additional transport costs
- Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
- Continually reviews freight costs, and transportation rates
- Liaising with supplier to progress orders
- Raising subcontract notes and booking onto system
- Reporting supplier data to management
- Some receptionist duties such as answering the phone
Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Customer Service Administrator:
Essential:
- Customer service experience with excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure

- IT proficient
Desirable not essential:
- Experience with ERP systems in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Have an understanding of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 and their contribution to the business to help to achieve objectives and ensure compliance
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
- Experience within Automotive Manufacturing environment
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of Work: Mon – Thurs 7 am – 4 pm, Fri 7 am – 1pm
Salary: £24,500 - £25,500 p.a. DOE
