Cover Supervisor - Secondary and Middle Schools. The Role…no two days are ever the same!- Overseeing students in the completion of pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Ensuring students remain on task and manage behaviour in the classroom
- Building positive relationship with pupils across different year groups
- Assist with other duties (registrations, break/ lunchtime duties)
- Desire to make a difference
- Enthusiastic, good sense of humour
- Excellent communication skills
- Adaptable with good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Resilient, reliable and versatile
- Hold either a degree or previous experience of working with children (eg: TA, LSA, mentor, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring etc)
- Possess an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be happy to apply for a new one (we can help with this)
