We are recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a diverse and inclusive secondary school that fosters a strong sense of community and academic excellence. This role is due to start after Easter, for the rest of the academic year. It will to teach KS3 & KS4. You will be planning and marking.
Job Role:
- Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking
- Deliver engaging lessons in Geography to students across KS3 and KS4
- Follow the National Curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet students’ diverse needs
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contribute to the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities where possible
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Excellent subject knowledge in Geography
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting, ideally at KS3 and KS4
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum
