Salary: £83.33 - £100 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday-8:30am – 3:30pm, (Term Time Only)

Contract Type: Full Time – Temp to Perm

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who need support the most? We are looking for dedicated Behaviour Support and Care Workers to join our team in Redditch. If you have a background in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support and Care Workers:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with challenging behaviour and emotional needs.
  • Work with children who have Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, Autism, and may have been in care.
  • Help create a safe and supportive environment for learning and development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of each child.

The successful candidate of a Behaviour Support and Care Workers will:

  • Experience in supporting children with challenging behaviour and Mental Health.
  • Background in education or alternative children’s provisions, such as support worker, youth worker, ex-prison/security staff, or residential care worker.
  • Personal experience or a background in social care is also considered.
  • Will have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. – If you don’t already have a DBS, we can help you apply for one.
