About the Role:
Redditch Borough Council is seeking a proactive and dedicated Housing Officer to join our Housing, Communities, Environment & Planning Directorate. You will manage a portfolio of properties within the borough, ensuring clean, safe, and thriving neighbourhoods while providing excellent tenancy and lease management services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and inspect properties, ensuring compliance with legislation and council policies.
- Address tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour, coordinating multi-agency responses as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop neighbourhood action plans and promote community well-being.
- Support tenants in sustaining tenancies, reducing homelessness, and making effective use of council housing stock.
- Maintain accurate case records, represent the council in court when required, and adhere to safeguarding protocols.

Requirements:
- Experience in social housing or neighbourhood management.
- Sound knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practices.
- Strong communication, organisational, and casework skills.
