About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Housing Options Officer to join a dedicated team within a Worcestershire-based local authority. In this key role, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload independently, from inception to completion.
- Provide advice, support, and tailored solutions to individuals facing housing challenges.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation and local authority policies including S184 decisions.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Proven experience in a Housing Options role within a local authority setting.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, homelessness prevention, and housing solutions.
- Exceptional case management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
