We are recruiting a PA to join the existing team of carers on behalf of our client, a young adult Actor who is currently working at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Join his team of PA’s who provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to really help make a difference to our client’s personal achievements.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire (B98)

Shift Pattern: Live-in - Between 2 & 3 consecutive shifts per week, on a rolling rota.

A UK Driving Licence is required for this role as you will be expected to drive our client's automatic van.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: £180 per shift

Free accommodation whilst on shift

Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

Nest Pension Scheme

Bespoke training on the client’s particular requirements will be provided

On-call support from our client coordinator

-Graduated in Drama and Musical Theatre at Wolverhampton University

-Has Cerebral Palsy, as a result, he is a full-time wheelchair-user

-Definitely a ''People'' Person

-Loves food, enjoys eating out

-Works 2-3 days a week at the Hippodrome

-Has a wicked dry sense of humour.

-Massive Movie fan - Enjoys Science Fiction and comedies.

-Loves Doctor Who

-Very independent and sociable but will also spend time chilling playing Xbox, watching series on Netflix and TV

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work

You will need:

-An Automatic UK driving licence (Essential)

-To be a graduate in a similar subject or have a genuine interest in Drama and Musical Theatre

-Have a great sense of humour and to not take life too seriously

-To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

-Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team

-A mature and responsible attitude

-Good communication skills

-To be fluent in English.

-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
