CMM Programmer duties include -

  • Use hand held measurement tools and CMM to inspect precision components.
  • Liaise with the Quality and Design teams when rejected parts are found.
  • Document and report non-conforming materials as required.
  • Ensure that any discrepancies are isolated, and the necessary actions are implemented.
  • Assist with other Goods Inwards area as and when required.
  • Ensure that all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated.

CMM Programmer desirable skills and experience -

  • Experience in a similar position (Quality Inspector).
  • Computer literate / able to read technical drawings.
  • Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC).
