- Work closely with classroom teachers to provide tailored support for students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and reach their potential.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and strategies for SEN students.
- Use creative and adaptive teaching techniques to engage and support students in learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Help manage and modify classroom behavior to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents as needed.
- Support students with physical, emotional, and social needs, promoting independence and positive self-esteem.
- Assist with any physical or personal care requirements for SEN students when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the school’s SEN team, teachers, and other support staff to deliver effective learning strategies.
