About the Role:

We are looking for an Inside Technical Sales Engineer to join an established business in Redditch, supplying magnetic separation products and services across multiple industries including Mining, Pharmaceutical, Food, Plastics, Recycling, and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing technical sales team, liaising with clients, suppliers, and external sales engineers to provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the internal sales team to drive revenue growth
- Prepare and produce technical sales quotations based on customer specifications and drawings
- Provide technical advice and support to external sales teams for bids and tenders
- Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and offer tailored solutions
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance business growth
- Ensure accurate pricing and project cost sheets using internal and supplier data
- Keep detailed records of opportunities and communications in ERP system (Epicor)
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Technical Sales or Sales Engineering (preferred)
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Strong technical mind-set with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience producing technical quotations for mechanical equipment/material handling industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to remain calm under pressure
Full product training will be provided as necessary.
