- Interpret customers’ requirements from specifications and drawings.
- Using software to create quotations and price proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers for material and sub-contract costs.
- Deal with client's technical questions with support from the company's manufacturing engineers.
- Promote the business and follow up on enquiries to maximise new business opportunities.
- Following up existing enquiries to encourage feedback from our customers.
- Liaising with the engineering, production, and quality staff to ensure the customer’s specific requirements are communicated to staff in all departments.
- Good understanding of manufacturing principles.
- Experience in sheet metal and fabrication industry
- Proven experience in a customer service role within a business-to-business environment.
- Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- 2D CAD experience, handling and analysing dxf and dwg files.
- The ability to use 3D CAD software would also be advantageous but training can be provided if required.
