Salary: £36,500 - £39,000 per annum + Overtime available
Location: Redditch
Hours: Rotating Day Shifts
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6am – 5pm
- Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 6am – 5pm
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Repairing and maintaining plant and machinery to ensure all equipment runs efficiently, minimizing downtime.
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance: Quickly responding to breakdowns and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Spare parts management: Identifying, specifying, and ensuring the availability of required spare parts for machinery.
- Working with machinery such as Gas Furnaces, CNC machines, Hydraulic and mechanical presses, ovens, grinding machines, EMD presses, and more.
- PLC Fault Finding (Siemens).
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
- Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics maintenance.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of factory operations.
- Hands-on experience working with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and the ability to diagnose and resolve faults across various technologies.
- Ability to adapt and work across multiple machines.
