Job Title: Transport Planner
Location: Redditch
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday Friday8am 5pm (1hour unpaid lunch break)
Holiday: 20 Days per annum (after 5 years service the candidate will gain 1 extra days annual leave per year - up to max of 25 days)
Duties Will Include:
- Day to day Route Planning & Scheduling
- Ensure vehicle utilisation is efficient to maximise cost effectiveness
- Ensure scheduling is compliant with Vehicle & Tachograph legislation
- Liaise with Drivers and Account managers
Skills and Experience Needed:
A minimum of 1 years route planning experience
Excellent communication & administration skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving business
Experience using Transport management systems
Knowledge of driver time directive regulations
Good geographical knowledge
Analytical and problem-solving skills
