Coats Recruitment is hiring for a Vehicle Technician - Product Development role with our client in Redditch. This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic or vehicle technician looking to step away from the workshop and into a technical, research-focused role within the automotive sector.

The Role:

Research & develop new automotive tools to meet industry needs
Test and refine prototype tools on vehicle parts and in real-world applications
Work with trade professionals to understand workshop tooling requirements
Answer technical queries from customers regarding tool use
Assist with product marketing - creating demonstration rigs, action shots, and instructional content
Monitor industry trends - researching new vehicle technologies and servicing methods
Organise the product development workshop to maintain a structured and efficient space
