About the Role:
As the EHS Advisor, you will develop, implement, and oversee the company's EHS policies, ensuring adherence to all relevant UK legislation. Working independently, you will play a pivotal role in driving compliance, promoting best practices, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver engaging EHS training programs to employees, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
  • Manage waste and emissions control, ensuring adherence to environmental permits.
  • Prepare and submit EHS performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain accurate records for waste, accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Coordinate internal auditing schedules and associated record-keeping.

About You:

  • Hold a relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Bring proven EHS management experience, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have proficiency in EHS management systems and software.

  • Be capable of delivering effective training programs and managing time effectively.
