A well-regarded further education college in Surrey is seeking a dedicated and qualified SpLD Tutor & Exams Access Arrangement Assessor to join their dynamic Additional Learning Support team.

This is a highly student-focused role, ideal for a professional with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in supporting learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). The successful applicant will play a key role in empowering students to become confident, independent learners while ensuring that all exam access arrangements are fully compliant with JCQ and awarding body guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 7 qualification in SpLD Assessment or a recognised Exam Access Arrangements qualification

  • A teaching qualification at Level 4 or above

  • In-depth knowledge of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments

  • Proven experience working with learners with additional needs

  • Excellent organisational skills and high levels of motivation

  • A degree or equivalent qualification
