Credit Controller

Outskirts of Redhill (Driver needed)

Temporary position | Full time | Office based

£28,000 per annum / £14p.h

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales Ledger/Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to showcase their expertise and make an immediate impact.

As a Sales Ledger/Credit Controller, you will be responsible for processing pre-invoice documentation, raising and issuing invoices, and handling Sales Ledger queries accurately and efficiently. You will allocate daily receipts to the Sales Ledger, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue invoices via telephone and email. You will also maintain records of all debt collection activity, attend regular debt review meetings with Directors to discuss aged debt, and provide accurate reporting on client payments. Additional duties may be required to support the business.

Skill set required:

  • Strong experience in Sales Ledger and Credit Control, ideally gained in a professional services or finance environment
  • Proven ability to manage your own ledger and meet strict deadlines
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong numerical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
