Kenneth Brian Associates are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a very established team based in Redhill. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and will be within commutable distance of Redhill

Duties:

  • Prepare financial reports like profit and loss, trial balance and balance sheet
  • Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Assisting with year-end accounts
  • Purchase ledger postings
  • Sales Invoices
  • Posting Barclay Card statement reconciliation
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Creating Budget templates
  • Processing P11D
  • Assistance with locating files and paperwork during audits
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Assistance with expenses reconciliation

About you:

  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent analytical, data and spreadsheeting skills
  • The ability to communicate with non-finance people in a clear and understandable way
  • Excellent system skills
  • A passion for getting things right
  • Good time management and the ability to work well with people in a team
  • The ability to break down a complex problem into manageable chunks and deal with these
