We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and providing exceptional service. If you have a passion for finance and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Match supplier invoices to authorised orders and process them accurately using Navision software.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to monthly ledger balances and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation for periodic payment runs.
  • Scan invoices and credit notes, and manage employee expenses.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address and resolve queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade C or equivalent.
  • Practical knowledge of spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Good verbal communication skills and a polite telephone manner.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly, under pressure, and unsupervised.
  • Trustworthy, with the ability to learn new skills and promote positive team working.
Desirable:
  • Working towards a recognised Accounting qualification.
  • Understanding of the financial environment.
  • Previous office environment experience.
  • Written communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work to deadlines.
