Our client is a very established leader within the beauty industry, who is looking for a Senior Brand AccountManager - FMCG to join their team. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the role is responsible for the daily management of allocated customer accounts across all categories including high street and e-commerce.

Job Title: Senior Brand Account Manager- FMCG

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

Location: Redhill - own transport is required due to location

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm

Benefits: 23 days holiday plus BHs - addition day each year until 30 days reached, enhanced pension scheme, product discounts, free parking.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partnering with their customers and focussing across all channels, maintaining the longevity, success and development of their relationships with the brand.
  • Sell-in of new product development, promotions and events including brand presentations, listing forms and pricing.
  • Input into strategy planning meetings.
  • Plan and track all brand support spend in line with allocated budget and flag risks & opportunities to line manager.
  • Being the lead contact between customers and internal teams with respect to marketing and customer needs.
  • Sales admin for all orders and liaising with the warehouse to ensure these are shipped on time and in full.
  • Monitoring retail trends and maximise opportunities across customers.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities (including space, visibility, activities as well as new doors).
  • Identify and pursue customer growth opportunities.
  • Field visits to assess retailer support, competitor activities and market trends.
  • Product training for retailers either in person or via Teams.
  • Flag issues and concerns in a timely manner, with options and recommendations to line manager.
  • Work with Marketing team to develop strong brand plans for allocated customers.
  • Constantly strive to drive efficiency and simplification within the team.
  • Flexibility to support across the business subject to capacity.

Key skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly numerate, commercially savvy, and passionate about working in the beauty industry.
  • Proven account management or other relevant/similar experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate and able to build a rapport quickly.
  • Present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Acumen to spot and maximise commercial e-tail and bricks and mortar opportunities.
  • Proven ability to manage projects concurrently while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
