Our Client, a large growing accountancy and business advisory firm with offices across the UK is seeking a
Business Development Consultant/ Group Risk Consultant to join their Redhill office on a hybrid working basis.
This role is centred around business development and existing client management.
You will be responsible for developing a portfolio of new clients by building strong relationships across the firm's
locations and identifying business opportunities. You will also manage and maintain client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new business through internal and external referrals
- Developing strong internal and external relationships in line with service agreements.
- Support and contribute to the professional development of team members
- Ensure all client deadlines and service lines are met.
- Execute projects
- Participating in team members to share insights
- Operating in compliance with the FCA's statements of principle
- Managing high value and complex client accounts
- Drive revenue growth and identify and secure additional revenue opportunities
- Draft and negotiate service and fee proposals
About you:
- You will have worked in an accountancy practice or in a financial services organisation in a similar role advising corporate clients on group risk and employee benefits.
- You will have strong service and sales orientation.
- You will have proven project management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- You will have a diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (QCF Level 4) and a commitment to achieving Chartered status.
- You will have a strong understanding of DC pensions and an up to date technical knowledge of financial planning and employee benefits consultancy including products, funds, pensions, markets and financial instruments.
- You will also be comfortable generating new business and developing current relationships.
