BDR - United Kingdom with regular trips to Ireland

The sweet spot is €65-70,000 (OTE Circa €130,000) plus a fantastic package (Car, mileage, unlimited holiday, bonus) but if you are earning €90-110K I still want to speak with you.

�?You will ideally be from a Solar background but if not they would look at another Clean Energy/ Battery Storage Background although the sales cycle is most similar to commercial industrial Real Estate or Property Management.

The Sr. Energy Associate role will play a critical role in

driving their growth and expanding their market

presence. You will be responsible for identifying and

creating new qualified sales opportunities for the

sales team. This role is critical in building the pipeline

and driving revenue growth. The Sr. Energy Associate

will also mentor and provide guidance to the team,,

helping to develop their skills and achieve team

goals. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated

self-starter with a strong background in business

development, particularly within the renewable

energy sector.

What they are looking for:

? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing,

Environmental Science or a related field.

? Minimum of 4 years of experience in business

development, sales, or a related role within the

renewable energy sector.

? Experience with AI or automated sales tools

? Proven track record of successfully generating

leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.

? Strong understanding of the solar energy market,

including industry trends, key players, and

regulatory environment.

? Excellent communication, negotiation, and

interpersonal skills / comfortable on the phone,

prospecting for business

? Ability to work independently and as part of a

team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

? Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Hubspot

Role Specifics:

? Identify and target new business opportunities /

qualified leads.

? Develop and maintain relationships with

prospective clients, partners, and industry

stakeholders.

? Conduct market research to identify trends,

competitive landscape, and potential areas for

growth.

? Capture & record deal qualification and

customer data to progress the deal

? Generate and qualify leads through various

channels, including cold calling, email

campaigns, networking, and social media.

? Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams

to develop and implement effective strategies

for customer acquisition and retention.

? Provide regular reports on business development

activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to

senior management.

? Participate in industry events, trade shows, and

conferences to represent the company and build

a network of contacts.

? Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory

changes, and advancements in solar

technology.
