An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Airtime Billing Manager to join our client's team in Surrey. You will be responsible for managing the UK airtime billing cycle, overseeing a dedicated team, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing. If you have a background in telecoms billing and a passion for delivering high-level customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in airtime billing and provisioning, with a solid understanding of telecoms billing software and processes
* Leadership skills, with the ability to manage and support the UK Airtime Billing team
* Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
* Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and lookup queries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues
* Strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritising tasks under pressure

Desirable:
* Experience in the Satcoms or Cellular sector
* Knowledge of SQL or Access
* Experience with Navision/Great Plains ERP systems

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the UK monthly airtime billing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
* Maintain and manage NIBS and third-party systems, ensuring customer accounts, billing profiles, and provisioning orders are correctly configured
* Support the Airtime Billing team with processing activations, deactivations, and changes to packages
* Ensure the timely resolution of any billing errors, responding to customer queries and resolving issues within agreed SLAs
* Run invoice processing and ensure validation and approval before issuing final invoices to customers
* Produce and present analytical reports to aid decision-making for senior management
* Manage Freshdesk ticketing queues, ensuring issues are categorised and resolved promptly
* Provide training and support on billing systems for internal teams and external customers as required
* Escalate and manage customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution
* Act as the subject matter expert for airtime billing and provisioning across the organisation, providing guidance to other teams
