A balustrade manufacturer catering to the domestic and commercial industries across theUK is looking for an Internal Sales Manager to join the dynamic and fast-paced team that will be responsible for developing the team and driving new business. Based in Blindley Heath, this position is well suited for a technical or mechanical qualified Team leader with experience managing sales teams selling products to the construction and related building sectors. What you’ll do as Internal Sales Manager:
  • Lead and develop the team to become more efficient in qualifying and managing leads.
  • Recruit and train Internal Consultants.
  • Analyse the existing processes and procedures and provide guidance to the internal team to increase business.
  • Identify marketing trends and opportunities, and report these to the marketing department to develop new strategies.
  • Improve relationships with current partners and identify new partners and channels.
We’re looking for an Internal Sales Manager with:
  • Experience in technical sales management selling into the construction, building merchant, home building or similar industries.
  • Experience in developing sales teams in dealing with leads effectively.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills are required.
  • Confident phone manners and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage
  • workloads efficiently.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software including all Microsoft programmes.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
