Plumbing & Drainage Engineer

Up to £40,000 + On call allowance

Redhill, Surrey

42.5 hour week

Winner Recruitment are currently working with an outstanding Service provider who focus on hard services within the Facilities management sector across Private homes.

They are looking to recruit for a Plumbing & Drainage engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance within Redhill and the surrounding areas. If you are customer facing and have experience of maintaining plumbing and drainage within the domestic sector looking for your next challenge, then do not hesitate to apply!

Duties:

  • As a Plumbing & Drainage Engineer, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance within private domestic properties across Redhill and the surrounding areas
  • You will carry out minor installation work, such as showers, sanitaryware and taps
  • As a Plumbing & Drainage engineer you will carry out plumbing inspections, unvented hot water cylinder safety checks
  • You will mentor, train and support the development of apprentices and your colleagues within the department, providing you with the opportunity to share your skills, knowledge and experience.
  • As a Plumbing & Drainage engineer, you will be part of the on-call rota team (1in5)

Candidate:

  • As a Plumbing & Drainage engineer you must have relevant qualifications within Plumbing & Heating e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ
  • It would be desirable if you held a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent Water Regulations certificate Unvented hot water Part G & Legionella Assessments
  • You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience working within a similar environment
  • As a plumbing engineer you must have excellent communication skills and be customer facing
