  • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3-month assignment)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (100% office based with some flexibility for hybrid after an initial training period)
  • Location: Reigate, Surrey (parking onsite and near to the train station)
  • Salary: £15.38- £16.41 per hour PAYE or £19.09- £20.41 per hour via an Umbrella company.

We are currently seeking a proactive Credit Controller for a short-term project focused on chasing old debt. This role requires a diligent professional who is comfortable using Google Sheets and Sage X3. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing debt recovery through both phone and email communications and will keep managers regularly informed of outstanding debts.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Proactively chase old debt via phone and email, ensuring a high level of persistence and professionalism.
  • Utilise Google Sheets and Sage X3 to manage and track debt recovery processes.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with managers regarding outstanding debts and recovery progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to strategise and implement effective debt recovery tactics.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on debt recovery status and any issues encountered.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in approach and willingness to adapt to new challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery (business to business debt).
  • Proficiency in using Google Sheets and Sage X3.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on results.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
