We are seeking a Credit Control Assistant for an engineering and manufcaturing company based in Redhill, to join the Finance Department . Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, this role will focus on ensuring timely collections from customers, managing credit risks, and maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable activity. Full training will be provided for specific financial instrument requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Review customer invoice requests, ensuring tax compliance and contract adherence.
Reconcile and manage selected customer accounts; resolve queries and arrange offsets as necessary.
Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate offset transaction bookings.
Proactively chase customers for outstanding payments.
Issue customer statements and maintain accurate contact records.
Perform credit checks on customers and raise invoices, credit notes, pro forma invoices, and inter-company debit notes.
Handle ad hoc finance-related requests as required.

Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance administration roles desirable.

Keen to learn and continuously improve processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word (essential).
Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping (advantageous).
Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred but not essential).
