Stores Person Wanted!
Our client is seeking a Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis. The Stores Person will be responsible for operating and managing the storage and rotation of inventory, parting kits for mechanical and electrical assemblies and assisting other areas within store's department when required. The Stores Person must have previous experience in a warehouse environment, working with mechanical and electrical components ideally.
Key Responsibilities for the Stores Person:
- Operate/Manage storage of inventory
- Look after equipment provided and report faults
- Keep the work area clean and tidy
- Maintain compliance with company systems and procedures
- Assist all areas of the store's department when necessary
- Highlight shortages in stock controller
- Kit parts for Mechanical and Electrical assembly
- Be a reliable and approachable source of help in all areas relating to inventory
- Use of stock management system
Skills Required for the Stores Person:
- Driving license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good communication skills
- IT literate including Microsoft Office
- Fork Lift Truck Driver License (desirable)
