The DSD Team is a revenue generating team within the GB Outsourcing business with a key focus on data projects. The Data Service Delivery Data Specialist is part of the wider Data Service Delivery team (DSD). The Role
  • Own and deliver smaller data projects and data tasks as part of wider data projects including: 
  • file dives to identify and capture required pensions data
  • report writing to agreed specification to capture data 
  • data analysis and reporting of that analysis
  • building calculations routines in excel to specification
  • setting up data request to Lexis Nexis updating data results 
  • Review and checking of data tasks completed by other team members
  • Deliver allocated data projects/tasks accurately, to deadline and within scope and budget 
  • Support the wider data service delivery team, working with other team members on their tasks providing direction, insight and sharing knowledge and skills
  • Communicate details of progress throughout the task to DSDT project owner/ Team Manager calling out challenges and other constraints in a timely manner with suggestions of possible solutions to the challenges
  • Ensure tracking management information data is kept up to date and accurate in respect of allocated workload
  • Ensure that all chargeable work is captured correctly on timesheets for billing purposes
  • Provide positive contribution to ideas for process and ongoing improvements for DSDT Tasks 
The Requirements
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK based pensions and experience of the delivery and management of data project tasks and projects
  • Proven ability to identify and efficiently resolve challenges, identifying solution to ensure allocated data tasks and projects are delivered within required quality, timescales and agreed remit
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise own workload with experience of working on several projects simultaneously
  • Evidenced ability to work effectively as part of a team supporting an inclusive working environment championing diversity within the team
  • Excellent communication and advanced numerical skills with intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
