Our client is seeking an experienced Airtime Billing Manager to lead their UK Airtime Billing team. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of the UK monthly billing cycle, including monthly management reporting and day-to-day airtime activities. The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for NIBS, INSIGHT provisioning, and airtime third-party systems, ensuring all billing and provisioning requests are resolved efficiently for both internal and external customers.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Own and manage the complete cycle of airtime billing processes and monthly management reporting.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the airtime billing database and ensure all provisioning requests are configured correctly for billing.
  • Handle daily or weekly housekeeping checks to identify and resolve any errors or non-processed CDRs or orders before the product bill run.
  • Run invoice processing within the product timeframe and ensure invoice validation before approval and issuing the final invoices to customers.
  • Extract and present analytical reports for billing and activation purposes, ensuring high-level global customer service.
  • Manage the Freshdesk ticketing airtime queues and tickets within SLAs, ensuring timely resolution and customer updates.
  • Provide internal and external support and training on NIBS and INSIGHT provisioning and airtime modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven team management skills and experience in airtime billing and provisioning.
  • Experience with telecoms billing software and/or billing processes.
  • Advanced level use of Excel to create pivot tables, charts, and lookup queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be proactive, multitask, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Access or SQL, experience in the Satcoms or Cellular sector, and familiarity with Navision/Great Plains ERP systems.
