Nursery Nurse

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an independent Ofsted rated ā€˜Outstandingā€™ Nursery based near Redhill, Surrey. The nursery are looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their quality setting and lovely team in providing children the best early years education and care needed for their development

Key Responsibilities

  • Building caring relationships with children, families and your team
  • Ā assist with daily routines, and use your knowledge of child development to assess progress.
  • Supporting the Room Leader, you'll model best practices and ensure equal opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with parents
  • engage respectfully with children, plan awe-inspiring activities to scaffold childrenā€™s learning, and document observations and next steps.
  • Health and safety are of the upmost importance; you'll ensure cleanliness, adhere to dietary requirements, keep attendance records, and administer medication and First Aid as needed.
  • Complete mandatory training, attend staff meetings, and need to engage in professional development opportunities to ensure high-quality practice and company values are maintained.
  • Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
