Teaching Assistant - Early Years - Permanent Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Redhill area.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years. You will assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Provide a safe and caring environment where children can explore and learn through play.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall operation of the setting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and early year's curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Advantageous:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Paediatric First Aid
