1:1 Teaching Assistant Support

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday 

Duration: Temporary, ongoing

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a cheerful and lively 5-year-old child in reception with Autism. The child is non-aggressive and requires a positive role model to stay with him throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to the child during school hours
  • Assist with daily activities and routines
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement
  • Ensure the child’s safety and well-being
  • Have lunch with the child and supervise during breaks

Breaks:

  • Two 15-minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon)
  • Lunch break with the child

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably with Autism
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to start immediately on a trial basis
