Head of Finance - £100,000 + Bonus + Car

WFH policy: 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

We Do Group is thrilled to partner with a well-established, internationally renowned Financial Services organisation to find their next Head of Finance, following the promotion of the current post-holder.

This is an incredible opportunity to lead a finance team of five in a thriving £300m division while being part of a larger, supportive global group. You'll have a broad scope, overseeing Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, FP&A, Compliance, and Treasury while shaping strategy and driving transformation.

The Role:

Finance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory financial requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and filing of statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax submissions.
  • Manage external audits and oversee Company Secretary duties.
  • Maintain robust controls via reconciliations and procedural frameworks.

Budgeting & FP&A

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and management reports under UK GAAP.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimise performance.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of five.
  • Establish clear metrics, conduct reviews, and nurture future leadership talent.

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Drive the finance strategy, including systems, processes, and team structures.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on both long-term and short-term goals.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee payroll, HR support, and IT Security.
  • Manage purchasing ledgers, business expenses, and business continuity planning.

Treasury & Risk Management

  • Manage liquidity, interest rate, and FX risks, ensuring robust treasury processes.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with banking partners.

The Candidate:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven expertise in financial services, leasing, or asset-based lending.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and experience in a multinational environment.
  • Track record of managing cross-company initiatives and engaging with C-suite stakeholders.
