Role: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £19.50 per hour

Overview

We are seeking skilled Class 1 Drivers to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Follow delivery routes and time schedules
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip
• Adhere to safety standards and traffic laws
• Driver mate to assist in load
• Heavy lifting involved
• Checking and completing paperwork
• Vehicle checks
• Ensuring load is safe and secure

Required skills and experiences

• Driving experience in the same field at least 2 years (required)
• Ability to deal face to face with clients and handle any initial queries in a professional and courteous manner
• Able to work in a busy, fast paced delivery time critical environment
• Ability to work independently with good tram player skills
• Upholding company reputation and being an ambassador of the company
• Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required
• Be reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude
