Our client, a specialist contractor based near Surrey, is looking for an experienced fitter/installer to join their team. They work across London and the Home Counties, focusing on high-end office fit-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter/installer to become part of a growing team with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.
This position is open to both experienced and junior individuals with the relevant experience.
Curtain and Blind Fitter Salary & Benefits- Hourly rate starting from £16.00, based on experience.
- Standard working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (including travel).
- Overtime available, paid at 125% of the standard rate.
- Company van, fuel card, and parking apps included.
- All tools and uniform provided.
- Assistance with visa applications available if needed.
- Travel to sites across London and the Home Counties.
- Install a range of window and wall treatments, including blinds, curtains, and acoustic solutions, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Safely and efficiently use hand tools and equipment.
- Carry out on-site adjustments as needed.
- Keep the work area clean and organised during installations.
- Follow layouts and installation guidelines with precision.
- Complete daily reports accurately.
- Show a proactive approach to work, a willingness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Previous experience working in curtain, blind or acoustic installations
- Full UK Driving Licence - required
- Valid CSCS - required
- PASMA - desirable
- IPAF - desirable
