Our client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Redhill, Surrey. In this role you will be responsible for managing and supporting both internal and customer IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and high service availability. Working structure: Onsite for 6 months, then hybrid
Key Responsibilities:Provide hands-on technical infrastructure support and manage internal and customer systems.Take part in global IT Infrastructure projects (Migrations, Implementations, Rollouts)Maintain and support corporate and customer servers, networks, and IT equipment.Ensure server builds and networks comply with security policies and standards.Manage email infrastructure, including Exchange, SPAM filtering, and MDM.Required Skills:In-depth experience with virtual environments (VMware)Strong knowledge of email services, including Microsoft Exchange, Spam Filtering, cloud messaging, and continuity services.Advanced Windows OS administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policies, user/group management, and PowerShell.Extensive experience with server and storage hardware (NAS, SAN).Solid understanding of IT Security, including antivirus, hard drive encryption, and client hardening.Experience with High Availability environments, including clustering and disaster recovery.Strong technical understanding of IP network fundamentals.Must be eligible to achieve Direct Vetted Status (DV).If you have a passion for IT infrastructure and excel in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
