Network Engineer

Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a business looking for a Network Engineer to join them on a permanent basis to assist developing the businesses vale to in-house and customer solutions.

Job description:

• Design and manage the global systems infrastructure and customer networks including traffic management and acceleration
• Developing in-house products and systems design as well as integration to best suit the needs of the business and clients
• Hardware and software development
• Meeting with stakeholders and customers to plan and design bespoke services and infrastructure
• Working with other team members to provide solutions to customer problems
• Act as the in-house product specialist
• Provide timely and accurate analysis and technical information to investigations
• To produce and maintain detailed technical documentation for new solutions/developments and work with other teams to rolled out anything new affectively to the organisation

Experienced required for the role:

• Degree or HND/HNC qualified in IT/Programming/Engineering areas within at least 3 year equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts including routing, switching, firewalling, layer 7 firewalls and Linux
• Project planning experience
• Analytically minded
• Proactive
• Able to manage own workload
