We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer with a leading Satellite Communications organization specializing in secure communications within government and defense sectors. Based from their HQ in Surrey some travel may be required as part of the role.

In this role you will be involved in the design, development and test of solutions to meet MOD/ government requirements.

Main purpose of job:

  • Design & configuration of MOD/ Gov projects
  • Work with Project Office and wider teams on successful delivery of projects
  • Test & evaluate new equipment
  • Delivery of assigned projects in accordance with project specifications

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure technical drawings and documentation complete
  • Verify technical equipment & software meet specifications
  • Customer site visits to support projects as needed
  • Define IP structures and provide guidance to teams
  • Support client meetings as required for current and future projects
  • Participate in MOD/Gov support rota
  • Liaise with MOD/ Gov agencies on trials

Key experience required:

  • Hold or be eligible to achieve UK DV Clearance
  • Degree level qualification Engineering ideally
  • IP networking experience/ knowledge CCNA/ JNCIA or equivalent minimum experience
  • ICT and Satellite Communications experience of key interest
  • Flexible and pro-active
  • Organized with proven administration skills
