My client is a long established school, looking to recruit an Estates Operation Manager to their staff. The role will lead, coordinate, and oversee the estate functions, with line management of a small support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the estate and compliance with health and safety regulations. About the Role:As the Estates and Operations Manager, you will:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive estates management programme utilising both in house teams and planning for external contractors
  • Oversee large capital and refurbishment projects across a range of grounds, buildings and facilities
  • Manage supplier contracts and service level agreements, monitoring spend and budget implications
  • Ensure site security, health & safety compliance, and regulatory adherence, including asset management and lifecycle reporting
  • Lead and support teams to deliver high-quality operations across the school
Whilst educational sector experience would be an advantage, experience of estates or facilities management in a complex environment is essential.
