Role Overview:
Engineering Administrator
Required to support the development and implementation of engineering processes including the ECO activities, ECPs, IPDB, etc. Also to provide wider support to the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role are to work under the direction of the EPM, to work and support them in the following areas:
- Coordinate, prioritise and manage the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process; to determine which ECOs are released and when, and endeavouring to achieve accurate and timely releases.
- Support cross-departmental liaison to aid the seamless introduction of changes released via ECO.
- Conceptualise, develop and implement new processes as needed, as well as improvements to the ECO (and related) processes.
- Provide Engineering, developmental and process support for business aspects as needed, including (but not limited to) work on ECOs and their related aspects, review ECOs, Special Projects, etc.
- To provide administrative support to the senior engineering team to aid the smooth running of the department.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience of Engineering Change Management, and / or related processes
- Attention to detail and adherence to defined process flow.
- An open-minded and creative approach to processes, process design and problem solving
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- An engineering background would be advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Procedures and / or change management systems (i.e. Agile) would be desirable
- Full training will be given on the relevant software packages
