- Take responsibility for managing a team and overseeing the team’s workflow
- Handle the people manager related items for a medium sized team
- Manage tasks in line with agreed milestones and SLAs.
- Take ownership and accountability of and monitor work allocation to ensure service level is achieved.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical and procedural aspects of DC investment changes
- Take the lead with items and actions, attending internal and external calls with stakeholders.
- Facilitate smooth knowledge transfer and ongoing development within the team via well documented and updated training materials
- Coach, mentor and drive colleague training, development and team performance
- Take the lead in more complex work when required.

- Prior experience of managing a team, mentoring / training within a DC pensions administration environment. Ideally would suit an experienced Team manager looking for career development.
- Previous experience of working on DC investment administration changes desirable, but not essential
- Interpersonal skills to include excellent written and verbal communication.
- Extremely well organised and be able to manage multiple priorities, targets and deadlines at any one time.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritise your tasks and those of your team.
- Take pride in your work with accuracy and adherence to a high level of quality being paramount
- Must be able to work to a high level of accuracy.
