About the Transport Office Co-ordinator (maternity cover) roleOur busy transport offices are the nerve centres of our waste collection services and key to daily operations running smoothly. You will:- Manage requests from initial order through to processing, liaising with customers and proactively dealing with complaints.- Use your scheduling/planning skills to prepare daily computerised routes for drivers and ensure they are debriefed at the end of shifts, resolving any issues with their rounds.- Resolve potential operational service failures, such as breakdowns. - Accurately record and input data. 

What we’re looking for in our Transport Office Co-ordinator (maternity cover)- Ideally, two years' office-based experience in transport operations, or a sound knowledge of the waste industry- Good computer skills, including databases - Strong team player and confident communicator  - Full UK driving licence 

Working hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri, though flexibility may be required.
